What happens to the details you send us, in plain language. This website collects less than you might expect.

The short version

This website has no database and no server that stores your details. When you fill in the enquiry form, nothing is sent to us over the internet — your answers are placed into a WhatsApp message on your own phone or computer, and nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp.

The website sets no cookies, uses no analytics, and does not track you. It loads nothing from any other company unless you ask it to — there is one map, and it stays switched off until you press a button.

What we collect, and when

We only receive information you choose to send us. That is:

  • Through the enquiry form — your name, your phone number, the condition you are asking about, and any message you add. These are placed into a WhatsApp message for you to send.
  • If you call, message or email us — whatever you choose to tell us.
  • At the centre — the health details you give a therapist during a consultation.

The condition you tell us about is health information. Indian law treats this as sensitive personal data, and we treat it that way too.

Why we need it, and how long we keep it

We use your details for one purpose: to answer your enquiry, call you back, and arrange your visit. We do not use them for anything else.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else, except where the law requires us to.

We keep enquiry messages and consultation notes only as long as we need them to look after you, and we delete them when they are no longer needed. If you want your details deleted sooner, ask us and we will do it.

Your consent, and how to withdraw it

Sending us your details means you agree to us using them to answer you. That agreement is yours to take back at any time — call, message, or email us and say so. Withdrawing it does not affect anything we did while it was in place.

You do not have to use the form at all. You are welcome to simply call the centre.

Your rights over your information

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to:

  • tell you what information about you we hold and what we have done with it;
  • correct anything that is wrong, incomplete, or out of date;
  • delete what we hold, where we are not required to keep it;
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights for you if you are unable to.

To do any of these, contact us using the details below. There is no charge.

If you are unhappy with how we handled your information

Please tell us first, so we can put it right. Write to info@keralaayurvediccentre.in or call +91 80085 80765, marked for the attention of our grievance contact, name to be confirmed.

We will acknowledge your complaint and respond as quickly as we can, and in any case within the timeframes the law requires. If you are still not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

The one thing on this site that is not ours

The map on our home and contact pages comes from Google. It does not load until you press “Show the map”. Until you do, nothing on this website contacts Google, or anyone else, at all — the address is written out as ordinary text and the page is served entirely from our own domain.

If you do press it, Google will receive your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google’s privacy policy rather than ours. That is your choice to make, which is why we ask first rather than deciding for you. The “Open in Google Maps” link works the same way: nothing happens until you click it.

WhatsApp is operated by Meta. Once your message is in WhatsApp, Meta’s own terms and privacy policy apply to it.

Keeping your information safe

The website itself stores nothing, which removes the most common way clinic websites leak patient details. The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and the pages are locked down so that no outside code can run on them.

Details you send by WhatsApp, phone, or email, and notes taken at the centre, are kept confidential and seen only by the people who need them to look after you.

Children

We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18 through this website. If a child needs treatment, a parent or guardian should contact us directly and will be involved throughout.

Changes, and how to reach us

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date below. If the change is significant, we will say so plainly rather than quietly editing the text.
